Overview

Scrum is a framework for developing and sustaining complex products. This definition consists of Scrum roles, events, artifacts and the rules that bind them together. Ken Schwaber and Jeff Sutherland developed Scrum. Scrum is a process framework that has been used to manage complex product development since the early 1990s. Scrum makes clear the relative efficacy of your product management and development practices so that you can improve. The Scrum framework consists of Scrum Teams and their associated roles, events, artifacts and rules. Each component within the framework serves a specific purpose and is essential to Scrum success and usage. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification validates your knowledge and experience. It gives you an advantage over traditional/waterfall professionals. Our approach to Certified Scrum Master training is a bit different as it consists of engaged activity and with active participation from delegates. The 2 days workshop is delivered by Experienced Certified Scrum Trainer (CST). The cost for Certified Scrum Master training includes the Certified Scrum Master Exam fee as well. This workshop will prepare participants for mastering the most difficult role in Scrum, while providing tested and practical techniques for data-based iterative product management within Scrum through videos, activities, exercises.

Course Description

Scrum is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems.  In a nutshell, Scrum requires a Scrum Master to foster an environment where: 

  • A Product Owner orders the work for a complex problem into a Product Backlog.
  • The Scrum Team turns a selection of the work into an Increment of value during a Sprint.
  • The Scrum Team and its stakeholders inspect the results and adjust for the next Sprint.

On completion of the 2 day CSM course, you will receive an email from Scrum Alliance with a link to create your login credentials. Then you can Sign in to gain access to the Online CSM Test. Once the test is complete, you will be asked to accept a license agreement. You will then receive the official designation of Certified Scrum Master® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance along with a two-year membership with Scrum Alliance.

Certification

CSM - Certification Details

Participants who complete the two-day's workshop will be required within 90 days of the course date, to take an online exam having 50 multiple choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes (No-pause), Passing percentage 74%. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will receive official designation as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) by the Scrum Alliance, along with a 2 year membership of the Scrum Alliance. Each additional attempt of exam will cost participants 25$ (starting 3rd attempt).
