Who Can Attend

To participate in the A-CSM training, you must already hold the Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credential with the Scrum Alliance. To qualify for the A-CSM designation, you must attend this event and also demonstrate 12 months of collective experience using agile methods.

An A-CSM℠ certification validates your knowledge as an expert on Scrum processes, values and techniques. No, Scrum Alliance believes that understanding Scrum requires a greater level of in-person face to face interactions that cannot be delivered in a virtual environment, therefore classroom presence is mandatory.

To earn an A- CSM, you must have an active CSM® certification with Scrum Alliance®, in addition to demonstrating at least one-year work experience specific to the role a Scrum Master.

On completion of the 2 day A-CSM course, you will receive an email from Scrum Alliance with a link to create your login credentials. Then you can Sign in to gain access to the Online CSM Test. Once the test is complete, you will be asked to accept a license agreement. You will then receive the official designation of Certified Scrum Master® (CSM) from Scrum Alliance along with a two-year membership with Scrum Alliance.

Certification

Certification Details

Taking an Advanced CSM training by Certified Scrum Trainer (CST), accepting the license agreement, designates you as an Advanced Certified Scrum Master®. There is no exam. CST shall register you with the Scrum Alliance for certification.
