The eligibility criteria is
a. 4,500 hours of project management work

b. 35 contact hours of qualified project management

To apply for the PMP exam, the PMI has mandated 35 contact
hours of formal PM training. This means you will have to attend a training
program whose duration should be 35 hours in which you are taught about the
project management fundamentals which are aligned with the latest edition of
the PMBOK Guide.

Here are the requirements for
applying for the PMP Certification Exam:
1(a). For a person having a bachelor degree or
